When planning an investment in a touchless car wash, besides the obvious questions about the number of bays and the technical equipment, the first choice to make is the type: a container car wash or a modular car wash. Container car wash

In this type of touchless car wash, the container serves as the technical room. It houses all the car wash technology. A lockable container provides greater security, better access to the components and storage space for spare parts or supplies of cleaning agents.

Container car washes are intended mainly for locations with high and medium traffic: medium-sized and large towns, densely populated housing estates or sites next to busy retail outlets. They are also often chosen by petrol station owners.

In the BKF offer, the technical container is supplied with the complete wash technology on a single frame, a water treatment station, a steel structure and a roof. Optionally, a staff room, a small office or storage space for chemicals can be partitioned off.

Modular car wash

The alternative to a container car wash is a modular car wash, intended mainly for locations with low and medium traffic. This solution is recommended above all for small and medium-sized towns.

As with container car washes, modules are often used to extend an existing business, e.g. a garage, a vehicle inspection station, a petrol station or a tyre shop. The main advantage of this solution is that it saves space, as a modular car wash takes up less area than a layout with a container.

In the BKF offer, a solution with one module can serve up to three wash bays. For 4 to 6 bays, a second module is required.

What to choose – a modular or a container car wash?
